HELLO!

Welcome to the new remodeled and revamped website! So, you may or may not have questions as to why I took this new direction for my website and for my work so here is the best explanation I can give without gauging out your eyes with words.

For starters, I have been doing a lot of personal research and reflection on how I wanted to present and continue my photography. I have been visiting and studying other artists sites, looking at multiple photo books and listening to a lot of ideas which resulted in building my resolve for my work. Long story short, I want to dig in more on the culture surrounding my Chicano identity, given that I was raised in an area of Anaheim where I was somewhat disconnected from the surrounding Chicano cultures, I feel slightly disconnected from some of my peers around me. That isn’t to say that I never embraced it, its more accurate to say that I was not exposed to some of the aspects of the surrounding culture. I believe this was due to my upraising with our family focus circulating our family business. We can leave it at that for now, However, that is a topic id like to dig into with my future work.

To continue, I wanted to put away some of my older work away in the archives since those are past remnants of who I was and I now want to consolidate and display my new vision of living through my new work. An ever curious shooter that creates with what is given in front of him.

The Grotto series and A Portrait Portfolio has been added to my site as part of my new visions for my work and I hope to explore more into my photography and my style down the road.

LAST THING

PRINTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE… They have not been selling as well as I would of thought or hoped, unsure why, but I have also recently been framing my prints and dropping them off at location around anaheim to be displayed and sold for a high price. reasoning behind that is because half of the proceeds of the sold frame print will go towards youth programs in the community such as The boys and girls club of Anaheim and Free haircuts for Anaheim Youth! So look out for them and buy one OR get yourself your very own print for a quarter of the price from my site!

Thanks for reading yall, talk to you soon.
